Ukulele Performance
Today we performed 3 songs on the Ukulele to our Families and other students at East Gore School.
We played and sang Row, Row, Row Your Boat, The Wheels On The Bus and Do Your Ears Hang Low.
We are very proud of ourselves and learnt lots of things about Ukuleles.

Big Book - Rabbit and Rooster's Ride
We have been reading Rabbit and Rooster's Ride by Jill Eggleton and we decided to record us reading it so everyone at home can hear how great our reading is!

Welcome Back...
Welcome back everyone to Room Kauri. I hope that you all had a great holiday and are ready to get back into learning!!
The first few weeks of school are very busy with us practicing for our Athletics Day. This is on Wednesday 2 March (if the weather is fine) and it would be great to see parents along supporting on this day.
We are also busy learning about what a good friend does. They will learn about what makes a good friend and making choices so they have good friends around them. Pop into the class and see what they think makes a great friend.
If you have any questions during the term or the year, please pop in and see me.

Ice Cream Sundaes and Milkshakes
On Friday we will be selling Ice Cream Sundaes and Milkshakes at lunchtime.
This is a camp fundraiser for the 2011 camp.
This will start Friday 11 February and will continue for all of Term 1!
